Creating and Joining a Tribe
What is a Tribe?
A Tribe is a community of bloggers, photographers and videographers who share their content and traffic while promoting each other. Also, brands partner with Tribes because they need great content to share with their customers. Each Tribe displays only an excerpt and link to the Tribe members' sites, driving more traffic to the content creators.
How do I create a Tribe?
Creating a Tribe is quick and easy. In just a few short steps, you can select a topic, share your content and invite others to contribute. Click here to get started.
Can I join a Tribe?
You can join any Tribe you'd like. When you click Join, a notification will be sent to the Tribe owner who then decides if your content matches the Tribe's editorial policy. A Tribe owner can accept or decline your request.
Can I create a Tribe without inviting contributors?
Yes, although a Tribe is to build a community and for a number of reasons that are beneficial to you, we encourage you to grow your Tribe's contributor base.
Is there a limit on how many Tribes I can create?
There is no limit - go wild!
How many tribes can I join?
You can join as many tribes as you want.
Can people automatically join my tribe or do I approve them?
As a Tribe owner, you have the option to approve or decline new membership requests.
Are articles automatically published to my tribe or do i approve them?
As a Tribe owner, you have control over the Tribe's curation settings. Set it to Auto to have posts automatically published, or select Manual if you prefer to control what is being published.
Content
How do I upload content?
The Apps section has lots of social goodies to make it easy for you to share your content. Explore our gallery to find your favorite platform, and keep checking in as new Apps are being published on a regular basis.
Invitations
How do I invite people?
Use our snazzy invite engine when inviting people to your Tribe. The invitation must come from our platform for security reasons.
Who do I invite to my Tribe?
The best way to find people is through your network but it definitely is not limited to just that. Expand your contributor list to include industry thought-leaders and other great bloggers who write about the same topic.
How many people should I invite to my tribe?
You can invite as many people as you want. The more, the merrier!
Traffic
How do I get traffic?
Every time a reader clicks on an article that you have shared in the Tribe, we load your blog in an iFrame. This allows the Tribe owner to create a brand network and you record a traffic impression.

Orbs & Badges
How do I get an Orb on my blog?
Just about anyone can download an Orb and you don't even have to be a member of a Tribe! See an Orb you like? Click on the "Get This On My Site" button found in each Tribe.
How do I push content to my Facebook Page?
We have a Facebook App for that! Click here to download the App.
I don't see my platform listed.
Every day, developers are working hard at building new apps for our platform. If you don't see your preferred plug-in, use the RSS streamer or Default Poster which supports just about any media. Feel free to send a request to info@atomicreach.com and we will look into building it for you.
Can a Tribe have multiple owners?
Sure can! If you'd like to designate some members to become co-owners of your Tribe, go to My Tribes and pick the specific members that you want and change their status from Member to Admin.
What kind of content can I contribute?
Tribes that perform better tend to have a great mix of articles, videos, images, tweets and podcasts. From a content perspective, the Tribe owner sets the editorial flavor.
How do I promote my Tribe?
Tweet it, post it, pin it, plus it! Let the world know about your awesome content in the community. Amp up the volume to get more eyeballs on your Tribe by sharing it with your pals across your social networks. BTW: the louder the tribe gets, the more traffic you get.
How often should a Tribe be updated?
Tribes that are active (generating at least 5 posts per day) perform better, so make sure your content is fresh and your contributors are submitting daily.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, although that makes us very sad, but if you must.
