Join a tribe

Looking to expand the reach and readership of your blog? Find a Tribe you like (and lines up with your blog's content), and then request to become a member by clicking on the "Join" button located in the top right-hand corner of every Tribe page. It's up to Tribe owners to decide who becomes a member depending on the Tribe's focus, the need for new members and, of course, your content. They can give you the thumb's up or politely decline. But don't fret or take it personally; if you're not able to join a Tribe, you can ask to join another one or create your own!

Share articles

After getting accepted into a Tribe, upload your posts to share with the community. You can pick the posts based on the Tribe's focus and whether you think a post would interest its readers. Keep in mind that Tribe owners pick the content that will be published so not all of your content will automatically appear in the Tribe. But don't worry, keep on producing great content!

Share Images

Snap and share your photos from Flickr by visiting the Apps section and selecting the icon. Be on the lookout for more options as we add more photo apps in this area.

Share Videos

Turn your readers into viewers by uploading videos from your YouTube or Vimeo account. Channel your stardom into this stream and watch your traffic soar.

Apps

The Apps section has lots of social goodies to make it easier to share your content. Whether you're a WordPress or Blogger user, we made it easy for you to upload your posts to a Tribe. Check out the other apps that are available, and keep an eye out for new ones.

Promote

Tweet it, post it, pin it, circle it! Whether you've joined a tribe or created your own, let the world know about your awesome community and maximize your reach. Amp up the traffic and get more eyeballs on your site by sharing it with your pals across all of your social networks.

Orb

Orbs are content "widgets" that can put on a Website or blog to promote a Tribe. They display a variety of content from a Tribe, which provides the readers of a Website or blog with more high-quality content and another reason to come back on a regular basis.

While Orb is a great way to promote a Tribe of which you're a member, you can put any of our Orbs on a Website or blog. You don't even need to be a member of Atomic Reach to tap into the goodness of Orbs.

Meet new people

In addition to providing a place to put the spotlight on different content, Tribes are also interesting places to meet other people with similar interests. We see Tribes as an interesting and engaging way to build communities that feature content contributors and readers.

Consume content

There's a lot of content on the Web so it's a challenge to keep up. Tribes provide a one-stop "shop" to discover and read high-quality content about a particular area, focus or interest. Tribes are great ways to quickly get a handle on what's happening, learn about new trends and development, and find ideas and inspiration.

For Tribe Owners

Why create a Tribe?

Creating a Tribe is a cool way to create and grow a new community powered by high-quality content. Tribes let you embrace and drive a particular interest in a new and different way. It provides an easy way to bring together like-minded people who have similar passions.

How to create a Tribe

Creating a Tribe is quick and easy. After logging in, give your Tribe a title and select the URL. Start uploading your posts and invite some members into your Tribe!

Invite new Tribe members

Tribes flourish when they have a variety of contributors and content - much like a newspaper or magazine is more interesting when different people write articles. You can grow your Tribe by inviting other people to come on board. After deciding on who would be a great addition, you can invite them via email from within Atomic. If your invitation is accepted, the person will activate their Atomic account. From there, we'll provide them with lots of information on how they can contribute their content to your Tribe.

Promote your Tribe

Another way to nurture your Tribe is telling the world about it. Tweet it, post it, pin it, circle it! Whether you've joined a tribe or created your own, let the world know about your awesome community and maximize your reach. Amp up the traffic and get more eyeballs on your site by sharing it with your pals across all of your social networks.

What's an Orb?

Orbs are content "widgets" that can put on a Website or blog to promote a Tribe. While Orb is a good way to promote a Tribe that you're a member of, you can put any Orb on a Website or blog. You don't even need to be a member of Atomic Reach to tap into the goodness of Orbs. Orbs show a variety of content from a Tribe, which provides the readers of a Website or blog with more high-quality content and another reason to come back on a regular basis.

Curate/ manage articles

As a Tribe owner, you select the content from contributors that will appear on it. This means you can curate the Tribe so it meets the overall focus and delivers value to readers. Atomic provides a user-friendly dashboard that makes it easy to pick content that will be published.

Managing community

A key part of your Tribe is a dashboard that makes a snap to manage new and existing members. You can decide who's going to be accepted into the Tribe, as well manage individual members. For example, you can automatically publish content from a particular member, block members or delete members.

Feature members/ articles

As a Tribe owner, you not only have the ability to pick the content that will publicly appear but you can put the spotlight on particular articles that are interesting, engaging or entertaining, and members that deserve some special attention.

Meet new people

In addition to providing another place to put the spotlight on your content, Tribes are also interesting places to meet other people with similar interests. We see Tribes as a way to build communities that include content contributors and readers.
